Guinness's growth chart

Hi Everyone!

I have seen this done on here and think it's such a great idea! We are wanting to track Guinness's growth to adulthood. We've only had him a week and have already noticed a huge difference!

@ 8 weeks 16.2lbs didn't get his height
@ 9 weeks 22.4lbs 13.5"

He is getting very comfortable and wanting to chew EVERYTHING!IMG_1765[1].jpg

I like the idea of the growth chart also. We've had our big guy for a month now & have been tracking his weight as well. However I'm curious as to how to measure his height. Do you measure to the top of their head or shoulder or back?

From what I have figured out it's to the top of the withers (shoulders), it's hard to accomplish when you have a squirmy puppy to get an accurate measurement lol.

I second that! We weigh weekly but can only manage height measurements never haha. Guinness is so cute! I love his face and coloring!

Such an adorable guy! Love the smooshy extra skin on his face. SO begging for kisses andSO much to grow into. All we manage are weights too- the zoomie/squirmy puppy here just won't cooperate on a height. The tape measure tastes delicious and heaven forbid he stand still anywhere near a wall.

Another week has gone by...can't believe it! Guinness is doing really well, adjusting to his new home. Still some accidents in the house but he's letting me know when he needs to go out 95% of the time. Still not too crazy about riding in the truck, but he's coming around.

11 Weeks now and Guinness is 30lbs and 15.5" tall. He is so easy going and loves the leaves in the front yard!

Those feet are huge!

hahaha I hear that (and I'm sure everyone here can relate with their pups) almost on a daily basis from our customers...we bring him to work with us everyday. It's fun to see the looks on some peoples faces when they realize he is only 11 weeks old.

Guinness had his 12 week check up and shots yesterday. Went very well, he is in perfect health :)
He is now 35.2lbs and 17.5" tall. I can't wait to take him to puppy classes.

Guinness is so adorable! Love the pictures in all the leaves. Does he like to eat them? Angus pouts when we blow and then mulch the ones in our house yard - takes away all his crunchy toys. :)

Lol He absolutely does! Actually there is pretty much nothing that he doesn't want to eat now. Cardboard, furniture, rocks....my fingers. He is starting to be a brat, but I just can't be mad with that face :p Time to take another trip to get some toys, nothing lasts too long.
