Hey Hector how does this look?

Here is the leash and collar Hector was asking to have made.

The collar is 27" from ring to ring, so when it is together it is just about 26 inches. The reflective is pretty dark until the light hits it so it's pretty cool. There is some friction in the rings against the material so I ovaled the rings just a little bit. Oh and threw in a control stinger with the scraps.

Hey Mike, where do you get your supplies? I'm looking for 2 or 3 martingale chains to make collars with, but all I can find are crappy ones that are really short and have O rings, not D rings.

I only have the o-ring type too. (Nylon Webbing, Nylon Strap and Nylon Webbing Hardware) I have a link to a supplier in the UK that ships worl wide and they have top notch assemblies but it is on my work PC. I can post it up tomorrow. Recently i went and purchased a nice full collar because it has the best looking heavy duty D-Ring assembly on it. I paid 6 bucks for it, well worth it for the assembly. Paracord I buy from all over the place, and Rope I get from http://www.repurposedmaterialsinc.com/ or our Ski Patrol department when they have to replace ropes.

Took the combo set out for a test drive. I have to tell you, I love the versatility of the leash and love the striking color of the collar. Both items are damn strong, feels too strong for me lol. Tested it by passing where a crazy pitbull lives and the sturdiness definitely makes handling easier. Thanks Mike!!

Wow it really looks nice on Hector, perfect combination for him. I wish I had made it an inch or 2 smaller though and can see the issue you mentioned in that second picture. Check your PM for a possible fix. Another fix would be using 2 inch rings instead of 1.5 inch rings. Is hector fully grown, because the issue may just go away if he gets bigger.

Well took both dogs for a walk at the same time. It's rare lol because Buddy loves to mark and with both of them it's like a freaking game to mark every bush and post. I had Hector on Mike's leash and I had it across my body so hands free walking Hector and I was able to better manage Buddy. Man they're a pain hogging the entire sidewalk and leaving me tripping and stumbling lol.
