Hi, question about parvo from new to forum user

My new Em comes home tomorrow in time to be my special Valentine. I live in a city and have had mastiffs before, b always had a very private yard. I've been really concerned about taking my pup out to potty since a lot of other dogs live in the building and I am afraid of my pup catching something, especially parvo. I thought about pads-but I have tons of time and really don't believe in them-although still now very worried about him so i am open to suggestions. I was thinking of maybe cleaning out a spot in the parking area, where dogs don't tend to walk and washing and scrubbing the area with bleach and then rinsing it with water several times. How many times would I have to rinse so the pups feet wouldn't be hurt. I realize this might sound silly, but I am really concerned. Thanks. BTW, i have been looking at this site for about 2 weeks and it is informative and fun to read about such wonderful dogs.
