Hi Everyone:

My name is Kris and I found this forum on Google which I was incredibly happy about! We purchased our first French Mastiff in 2002 and adored every second spend with him. Unfortunately, we had to euthanize Jake in January, 2010 because he was diagnosed with bone cancer - he was two weeks shy of 8 years old. It ripped our hearts to lose him but a month later we decided to get another Dougue de Bordeaux. He was 15 weeks old and we named him a Cooper.

Anyway, thanks in advance for sharing your stories, ideas, etc.

It's so hard to lose these big ones -- especially when it's too soon. I'm glad you've got Cooper to mend some of the hurt. Hope to see plenty of photos of him and be able to watch him grow up along with you.
