Hi everyone,
I'm currently doing my research into breeders of the Cane Corso to decide who to go with for my companion dog. My wife and I live in NC, and there are several breeders in the state that are drive-able that I could use. However, my main concerns with choosing a new puppy are temprament, health, and buying from a reputable breeder. Some of the breeders I have looked into in NC are: Basilicata Cane Corso, Pirates Den Cane Corso, and Cape Fear Cane Corso. I haven't seen many people here recommend these as much as some other breeders outside of the state. As far as outside the state breeders I've also looked into are CastleGuard Cane Corso, Gator Country Cane Corso, and San Rocco Cane Corso. Knowing the breeders that I have driving access to in NC, is it worth it to go out of state and ship a puppy (or fly and pick him up myself), which would obviously incur some added cost, or are the breeders in NC reputable enough that I don't have to look outside the state? Thanks everyone.
