This is Boscoe my BM.... he was my best friend . It has been one year today since I lost him unexpectedly to Cancer, he was 7. Not a day goes by I dont ache because i miss him so much. BUt I know that many if not all of you understand the love of a Mastiff and how much of a part of you they are. Their love is unconditional, they never judge, they are always there to listen and make you laugh! i have not looked at his pictures for a yearbut I thought I would share some pictures in honor of his memory.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I lost Budda at 7 to massive tumors. That was my best friend to this day. It may be bad to feel this way, but God will have to answer for Budda. Or all dogs really. They should be like children and out live you. Time makes it easier but never makes it go away. You'll always have a special place for Boscoe regardless

I am so sorry for your loss of Budda chuckorlando.
Exactly!!! I will never forgive the powers (what ever they ) that be for taking Bos, the way i lost him. He also had massive tumours, they operated for an obstruction but when they opened him up it turned out to be 4 grapefruit sized tumours eating away at his intestines and stomach. Worst day of my life, dropping him off, telling him I will see him later and kissing him and then... well, still cant talk or type about it it is still too painful and I cry everytime i think of it and him sitting there, i am sorry! He is and always will be my best friend!!

So sorry for both of your losses!!! He was a handsome boy!!

April is a sad month, yesterday was the 3 yr anniversary of our first baby passing, Ashton, she was a little shep. mix - lost her to cancer as well, got her at 7 weeks & had to say good bye to her when she was 11 1/2 :( Cancer sucks!

Yea I'm completly non rational in regards to Budda. I'm mad at the vet cause they put him down, mad at the surgeon cause they could'nt fix him, mad at myself cause I could'nt help him, mad at the dog food companies cause damit someone needs to be to blame and mad at God for allowing it to happen. Even though likely no one is to blame, I aint rational on that subject.

It hurts my feeling for you to have to feel what you do. Same to you allformyk9s. Most folks own kids aint as loving and loyal as their dogs. Yet the stupid turtl lives to a 100

I'm really sorry for your loss!

I just lost my 8yr old female DDB 3 weeks ago to gastric torsion and I lost my heart dog Bentley 5 years ago to dilating cardiomyopathy, he was only 3 years old.

Seems like we have that loss & pain in common; I could never figure out why we have to lose them so soon. We lost Deedee a year ago; I still miss her every day. She's here on the property, & so is Stormy who died 2 years ago at the ripe old age of 21 months...I visit them occasionally...
I'm positive I'll see them, & all the rest of my beloved furkids someday. Doesn't bring them back, but eases the pain some days.

I'm sorry for all of your losses. Dogs are truly mans best friend. I read something recently that really makes sense of
how I feel about dogs and people. "Dogs are nicer than the average person". That goes to reason why I like dogs more
than I like most of the people I've met. People have ulterior motives, but " a dog is the only animal that loves you more than it loves itself". I'm on pins and needles everyday wondering if my "body guards" end is nearing. He will be 13 if he
makes until October.
