We decided to spruce things up and fix some things under the hood. If you notice any issues, feel free to contact us as we're sure there are a few things here or there that we might have missed in our upgrade.
I went and put him on the scale on Friday but I guess something was wrong with the scale. He was 47 pounds the week before and this week he was only 48.7. The thing was we tried a couple of times and we got different weights each time. Either way he didn't gain that much. He is on medicine and they said it is an appetite suppressed but he had a fungal infection so we didn't have much of a choice. That was the big spot on his leg but it's almost gone now. This was him last night.
I wouldn't too much about his weight gain as long as he's eating, drinking, playing and going potty ok. Glad you found out what the spot was on his leg and he's healing.
He will stop growing for a little bit and then BAM! he'll gain weight. It's normal.
He looking good and adorable. I have had similar worries bout the growth of my pups as well at times. Kitty didn't seem to be gaining weight much either but then she fell asleep one day and it seems like she sprouted over night. Although her butt is growing faster then the rest of her, so she looks like a drag racer at the moment the a high back end and low front end. It will all even out in the long though. He looks so precious though.
We are happy with him and his weight is up this week. He is now at 17 weeks old 52.5 pounds. It's been hectic but I will try and get a good picture today.
