Little dogs ATTACK too !!!

I have a kind of funny story (altho it could have ended horribly) about my GD who passed recently and a Shih tzu. I should say first that Dylan loved all dogs (despite being a gasp intact male) and had the ability to totally charm off- leash dogs who approached him aggressively on our walks. Anyway, one day a tiny Shih tzu (who was off leash in his yard), spotted us and came running into the street after us, barking and growling. The owner who was also out in the yard starting yelling at the dog to come back -- which of course he totally ignored. So anyway, the Shih tzu reached us and actually nipped Dylan's leg, but Dylan did his charm thing and it backed off. I called to the owner that all was well, and could she please calm down a bit. However, she kept running towards us, screaming "My baby! My baby!" and waving her arms. Dylan leaped in front of the Shih Tzu (who was cowering) facing the woman, standing at high alert, until I put him in a down. The woman snatched up the Shih tzu and said, "How dare you bring such a dangerous dog into this neighborhood!!"

I just said, "Hmmmmmm. Here we are in a public street in a town with a leash ordinance. Here is Dylan's leash, where is yours?"

that is the funniest thing i read today so far....hahahaha
