My little man is getting big! Today I noticed he's been rampaging on his toys and finding things to chew on. He's very good with "leave it" and he even learned that the "trade up" goes both ways. He wanted the shoe back that we got from him so he kept bringing me different toys trying to get it back LOL!!!!
He gets free roam of my room at night because he does so well, he always has, I think he's been crated a total of 4 times at night and that is only when he didn't want to sleep and I had to work in the early morning. This morning I woke up and his favorite toy had become a fatality..
He had no idea that he had done something wrong...
He's 14 weeks old now and we joined the monthly "great dane walk" in our area, there are no mastiff groups but he LOVED seeing all the big dogs...he tired out about 1/3 of the way and I carried him to the halfway point where he got to ride back to the starting point with one of the member's husband...he loved it because the man had loads of water and a/c. I think the man didn't want to give him up ahahahaha
I was totally not dressed for the occasion as I had to rush from work to make it on time. Between that, the high temperatures, and carrying his 45lb butt up and down hills I'm fairly sure I had heat stroke. We had loads of fun but the drive home was a complete blur and by the time I did get home I was vomiting and extremely confused and in serious pain, I don't remember much of the night but I definitely will not be carrying him again...even though next meeting he'll be way past my strength point to carry anyway.
