The boys did not come with papers, their parents were rescues, she was pregnant when she was rescued with father..... I tried to get close to the parents to get good look at them but they were having none of that, going nutz so I backed off...... They were very large but I vaguely remember the dad's legs, funny what you remember so long after..... No they turned out, but he was moving & barking in a frenzy.......

I'm going to second a need for him to see a vet. An abnormal gait and paws that turn out are both symptoms of elbow dysplasia. Kryten was diagnosed about a month ago. According to his surgeon he was born with it and exercise only caused him to become symptomatic. Like Ruth said the earlier it is caught and treated the better. One thing I've learned in the past month is that very few people even know about ED but that many dogs have it I diagnosed for years.

Can you get pictures from the front standing and side standing?

It could be genetic, but it could also be dietary. With raw they could be getting too much or too little calcium and it could cause growth issues. I used to know the math to calculate raw meals based on body weight and estimated adult weight but long forgot it. The people I knew feeding raw years ago to growing pups often had to supplement bone mean to get the %s right for calcium in their growing pups.

Can you see the last 2 ribs during movement? Right now when he is going through a skeletal growth issue he is going to need to be as lean as possible. Any extra weight on those joints will not help the issue and can cause additional issues.

Start supplementing Ester C to help correct the problem as well. I am sure I can find the appropriate dosage if anyone here doesnt know it off the top of their heads.

Bone meal would add to much calcium for a giant breed pup, I did the math on here just recently and the PMR 10% bone is perfect for giant breed pups.

Hmm, not an expert, and since they aren't stacked (and I'm sure you couldn't get them to stack) it could be the angle, but that looks like his whole ankle is angled out?

that is why I am posting this because my gut is telling me something is not right with him...... he runs plays beats the crap out of his bro fine.... but his body alignment is not right, he's always been built like a brick shit house with huge paws....

When he's standing, can you pick up his foot and turn it straight? When you do does he turn it right back out?
