I think they are trying to create a giant Tibetan Spaniel. Or get the TMs to look enough like spaniels that they can market the actual spaniels as mini-TMs.

It seems like a good plan... o_O

There was apparently discussion about "the American TM....." which made an awefull lot of people want to yell "TMs AREN"T AN AMERICAN BREED DAMN YOU!!!!"

Hey if the Chinese are doing it why not the Americans? We could start a whole new Mastiff and call it the ANYTHING BUT TIBETAN MASTIFF, TIBETAN MASTIFF.

Dont be daft!! LOL. The big butterflies come out next weekend, Crufts is next Sunday so no sleep for this kid from Friday night onwards. This year I have been smart though and booked the Monday off work so at least I can have a glass or 12 of wine once we are home!

good luck! We hit handling class again last night, Apollo ignored the clapping (the Papillon running ahead of him was much more interesting), but the male assistant was the one doing the hands on "judging" and trying to show me how to restack him and Apollo was less than enthused. He stayed polite, but I decided to leave after half an hour rather than push him (the guy even stopped at one point and asked if Apollo had problems with men, it was that obvious).

I don't stay long at class with moo either, just enough for her to run the mats with her handler, have fun and leave on a positive. May be a good idea to ask some of your male friends to go over Apollo so he accepts and enjoys it. Glad he was ok with clapping tho.

He's usually fine with males, we even had two male judges at the show in Nov and he was fine (at least two male vets have handled him too). But he didn't like this guy re-arranging his stack, I'm not sure if it was an issue with the guy himself, or the way the guy was handling him (he was a rather abrupt) or what.

Mooshi looks great, but what we really need is more Allie pictures.
