He's a cutie!

For measuring height, what I do with Apollo (who hates the tape measure) is to stand him up next to me (heel position basically) and mark where his shoulder is on my leg with one hand, then hubby measures how high that is. Probly not the most accurate, but it gives us a measurement.

(and how in the world is 20lbs at 8 weeks small??)

Ty and no it was not ment that he was small, it was referring to some of the other posts at the time.

Get ready to be surprised again, waiting till I get his weight this evening, but there is a pretty big difference again in a week length and size wise.
I weigh him on sundays before evening feeding.
WOW!!!

I can't get over the difference in the pics.

Can't wait to watch him grow. (more)

4 Weeks ago he could walk under the dog on the couch, now he is bigger than her.
Will post some more pics tonight, after play time with her daughters, St B and EM.

So cute. Just a heads up. I used to own that couch and the backs are not designed for mastiff weight. Kryten broke one of them off.

were you referring to my comment? Most good breeders seem to put out pups between 25-30 lbs at 8 weeks.... But like I said it really means nothing... Sully is a perfect example a "small 20 lbs at 8 weeks to a monstrous 195 at 10 months.... Just on average for a we'll bred litter 20lbs would be considered on the small size, though not a prediction of adult size by any means.

Thnx DDSK and Penny.

Weight wise not a real change, at 12 weeks he was 40lbs even, at 13 week he weighed 42.1lbs a the vets.
He seems to be getting the long and lanky currently.

Well no week 14 or 15 weights, someone chewed the scales and do not work now. Will pick up a new set when I visit the store again.
Week 16 at vets was 52.7lbs So a little over 3.5 pounds a week.

Will post new pics tonight or tomorrow. have to get some work paperwork done first.
