    Hello everyone,

Unfortunately I have to find a loving family for my Cane Corso Athena. Being active duty military I have been tasked to be deployed overseas. At the moment I have no one to leave my dog with. So I am looking to give her away to a love family with kids. Athena is a great loving Corso who is full of energy. It breaks my heart to let her go but I have no choice. If there is anyone interested my number is 8138410222. We are in North Florida. She is up to date with all her shots and she is one year old.

I'm sorry, I know this must have been a difficult decision. My suggestion would be to contact a local breed rescue group or try the national rescue and they can maybe help. Rescue groups will vet prospective adopters. I worry about owner placement because your breed is highly sought after and many people don't understand the requirements to own a breed like a CC. Good luck and thank you for your service.

"In January, 2009, Cane Corso Rescue became independent of the CCAA and formed Cane Corso Rescue, Inc.

In June 21st 2013, CCR received its IRS 501(c)(3) non-profit organization status.

Since 2005, over 1,000 Cane Corso dogs have been rescued and adopted in their forever homes. As CCR continues to grow, so does the need for volunteers, adoptions & donations.

Unfortunately, we do not have an email address at this time since we get so many emails a day from adoptions, surrenders and other applications: our volunteers are tied up with getting those processed. However, if you have an urgent situation, please call us at the phone number above."

I cut this part out of their "About" page. I believe this organization would be able to help you, especially, (As Noted in the Last Paragraph) "you have an urgent situation..."

I hope this the very least they can point you in the right direction within Florida.
