We decided to spruce things up and fix some things under the hood. If you notice any issues, feel free to contact us as we're sure there are a few things here or there that we might have missed in our upgrade.
Way to young. but that boy of yours has a nice head.Hes going to be a finbe looking boy. and dang what in the world were they breeding for, a food processor? I think you will be plesently suprised by this pups guarding instincts. it will show up soon.
they were obviously breeding for cash haveing litter after litter after litter it is just a fact of life that will never be solved but atleast heas got a good life unlike where most of them ended up gaurding canabiss farms and scrap yards
Chloe is a 1/2 bull , 1/2 neo ( another garbage disposal lol!) but she turned out to be my best guard dog yet. all the pure breds guarded but she thinks its her calling! Yeah , I thought yours looked identical to quit a few of the pups here. She looks a smidgit on the small size, but with the breeds of your pup , wouldnt even worry about size being an issue
anouther question sorry to keep on i leave his food down 24 hours a day because i got all different answers as to how many times a day to feed a puppy per day but at what age can i reduce the feed times down to 2 or 1 meal a day
You really don't want to leave food down for mastiffs all day long. Puppies that young should be fed three times a day ideally until they are a year old at which time two times a day is good. You never want to feed a mastiff once a day because of the risk of bloat.
Many vets operate on a one size fits all mentality and mastiffs are not like other dogs. Yes I would recommend three times a day for the next six months and then 2 times a day.
thanks also hes nipping quite alot but not agressively more play biteing like earlier i was visiting my mother and she walked passed him and he nipped her leg i shout at him when he does it and he knows hes done wrong should he grow out of this behaviour
They need to be taught that biting even in play is wrong. The level that you want to allow depends on you. Some people allow their dog to mouth them softly others don't allow them to use their mouth on people at all. I personally taught mine to be gentle and then once they knew that I taught them not to put their open mouths on any part of a person, including clothing.
is shouting at him enough because when i shout at him he knows hes done wrong but soon after will just do it again

He likely has learned that there are no repercussions from those people. By that I don't mean someone needs to hurt him or anything. He bites, you ignore him. If you do a search for puppy biting you will find a bunch of threads giving all sort of advice on how to teach them not to bite.
