So, Capone, our 17 week old EM finally destroyed his Kong Bed that was in his kennel. The Kong Bed lasted about 2 months which I think is pretty good. He finally got a hold of the zipper end and tore the stuffing out while we were at a basketball game. We came home and he was surrounded by stuffing, he new immediately he did a bad thing.
So after some research I bought the chew resistant bed at k9ballistics.com. I got the original tuff bed that is 38"x54" so it would fit snugly into his kennel. Came home last night and let Capone get used to it on the living room floor. He absolutely loves it, he tried scratching it, biting it and jumping around on it. I corrected him as soon as he started biting it, we will see how it does in his kennel without supervision.
But for anyone looking at a durable bed I think this is it. The cover looks like the same material they use to cover boats with, water resistant and tear resistant.
Only time will tell...
