New Mastiff Owner in Memphis, TN

Hi,
I recently aquired a 2 yr old English Mastiff from a very reputable breeder. The breeder took this dog in from another breeder that was going out of business.

I have had her about 3 weeks, and she is warming up to us; but still needs some help. She walks well on a leash with my 10 yr old Black Lab. Working on simple commands with a clicker, and trying to housebreak her.

My new dog just got a clean bill of health from my vet (who also owns English Mastiffs); and received all her shots.

My question is; What is the best place kind of preventative heart worm medicine and where can I get it?

Your vet can give you the heart worm medicine. I use Interceptor. Welcome!

Welcome to the board! You are only about 3 hours from me. I also, recommend using your vet for heartworm prevention. My dogs use Interceptor. I like it much better than Heartguard Plus.
