Hi guys, I just wanted to post on here to say hello and introduce myself and my pup Hektor.
Hektor is currently 12 weeks old, weighs 23.67 lbs (weighed just before surgery after he had been without food for 8 hours and water for 5) and just got his ears cropped today! So far he has learned sit, down, come and wait.
I am really enjoying this forum, thanks for all the info!

No, Hektor is a purebred, he is registered. He just was on the receiving end of a recessive gene. So, he is not breedable. Since I was looking for a working dog anyway, and his drive is unaffected by the color, the breeder reduced price for me with an agreement not to breed him.

One of my dog's sibblings had the same issue, that's why i asked, he had a brown nose and dilute mask. But actually the coloration makes them look lovely.
