well i hate to say it, but some of my afternoon naps on days i get them are spent on the rug with Juno lol. this is another reason i'm considering sharing my couch with her. guys, we just really can't help it.
Next time the conversation comes up, just smirk. Bruno will win the argument for you in time. =) Since Mira sleeps with me (sometimes I have two full grown Labs and Mira to cuddle), my rule is no furniture without permission. Otherwise I'm like your fiance, I can't keep my own no furniture rule.
My rule is the dogs can be on select peices of furniture as long as they move when required to by a human. Since Apollo considers my coffee table his bed and my end table his window perch this works.....
