I had a couple of questions about foods for my dog....I've been doing some research on food and I think I narrowed it down to a couple good quality ones Diamond large breed puppy, blue buffalo puppy, natural balance (by Dick Van patten) if any one out there have any suggestions I would gladly appreciate them thanx ....I have a APBT and he is doing real well with diamond but that's a different breed I understand so any help from cane corso owners would be great.

Ive used Innova large breed puppy my girls loved it until around 6 mos. I used Blue Buffalo large breed puppy and my vet told me about a recall so I stopped. Turned out it was not their puppy food but to late. I use Orijen large breed puppy now they love it. I only feed the kibble in the morning the evening boiled chicken, beef, salmon with assorted vegetables. My girls are 14 months I had planned on going to a multi stage food at 18 months. . Ive used natural balance they didn't like it at all. I also tried the canned but it didn't agree with their stomachs.

Our girl was on Taste of the Wild all stages and did great on it, we recently switched her to Acana as TOTW is hard to find, can't say enough.
I prefer a grain free all stages food with a low protein count.
Good luck

low protein until at least the age of 12-18 months to avoid problems that arise from growing too fast

The lower the protein count the better, TOTW I think is 24% where Acana is 32% so higher but not as high as some.
Most puppy foods are around 40 + %.
The lower protein and fat the slower the growth the better on joints, hips what not.
Besides Acana has been awesome for the stool, and my girl needs way less food to maintain a healthy weight.

I've used TOTW for pups with good success. It is a wonderful decent-priced grain-free food. If you choose to go with this brand, go with the Pacific Stream formula since it has the lowest protein.
