The last one I bought is my favorite ever handgun and it is "compact" but not incredibly small (Ruger P345). I have a gun purse so it is much easier. You need to check those out online...I can carry my gun and an extra clip and you would never know it as well as the fact that it is easily accessible if I need it. I am not a huge fan of the "little" guns but I do own a Smith & Wesson Bodyguard 380 which is actually a really nice little gun. If you google it, it could be just what you are looking for.

My dad suggested a S&W! My biggest concern is recoil, not saying I can't handle it but having little to no handgun experience I don't want the first rattle out of the cage & end up with a black eye. Lol. I actually have been meaning to ask you since I figured you would have a great suggestion! It's a little overwhelming but something I've wanted to do for a while now

I love my sig40 but have been buying up eve bushmaster/sauer rifle I can when I find a good deal on CL or gunshow etc.. My granddad owned a gun shop for thirty years so I got a firearm of some sort for every christmas/birthday but can never have too many especially with new legislative actions being made to break our 2nd ammendent. A 380 sounds like a good choice for your budget. My wife has a cute pink one lol

Pawn shops and gun shows are great places to find guns if you can get someone knowledgeable to go with you and make sure your not getting shafted.

Yeah my family is pretty gun savvy. Thank goodness for that! And I don't think I want a pink one lol! I am a girl & I love pink but don't think my gun needs to showcase that ;)

My family are not gun people, the only one with gun experience are my dad and uncles. Only from being in the military and one from a retired police force.

I need to take a gun class. Being I live alone, better be safe than sorry.

You never know nowadays DD. People are crazy. I would recommend you take a class. If you were close hell I'd make you go to the range with me! I figure gun collecting & dog collecting...you get looked at like your crazy either way but at least the guns don't have mouths that you have to feed lol

LOL!

I agree which is why, I need to actually do it instead of talking about it. I work at a base that does allow civilians to shoot on the range. I just need to take a class and register. Then purchase. I work with a guy who deals guns.

We're all about the vintage cars around here. Once a year we buy and make them pretty then sell them and find a new one.

I wanted a gun and got Hank instead. My husband decided you can't call a bullet back and I get a little crazy from time to time.

My baby was a 66 Cadillac but we are looking for a 66 impala as my next car. The old man is building a hotrod truck right now.

I saw one at a drag show a couple years ago. The exhaust on that thing could've woke up an old man 15 miles away. It was what I call....beefy! I freakin LOVVVVVVEEEEE camaros. :)

And by drag show I obviously meant drag RACE. Not a show where men put on dresses & makeup. That is not a hobby of mine. Lol (no offense of course)

I don't know. There's something about after market exhaust that I love. But it HAS to be done right. Especially on a camaro. I wouldn't want it sounding like a rice burner

Sorry should have been more specific. I meant the noise. If I go to a drag race that's one thing but having a vehicle as a neighbor, that makes such a noise is another.
