Outside Time For Cora - TPLO Recovery

IMG_2211.JPG IMG_2210.JPG Well, it's been a tough week for Cora. Tomorrow will mark one week since her TPLO surgery. One week of recovery down, 11 to go! Today was the first nice day we have had in awhile, and Cora absolutely loves being in the sun. So she got to lay outside for 10 minutes, twice today. I have to be careful not to let her stay out for too long, for she is more prone to getting a sunburn on her shaved leg.

Needless to say, she was very content.

Love the pic of her smiling in the sun! Hope she's feeling 100% soon.
Thank you! Every night I give her nuh-night love and tell her, "we made it through another day, baby girl!" She will be doing zoomies before we know it!

My Mr. Chev always lies in the sun when he has a chance. He is a pic of Mr. Cheevers running with the good old ear-flap in progress.ears.jpg

So glad she's up and around...I hope she holds the zoomies off until she is totally healed. One of the grand-pups had both legs done and was as right as rain within weeks, though my daughter kept the extremes to a minimum for the requisite healing time.

Sending cyber-hugs to you and your girl!
