Stool has been solid as of late. Just the urin issue at this point. Taking her to new vet today, been seeing my mothers mastiff for years now and is highly knowledgeable with the breed and also holistic healing. Will ket you know the case when I find out. Thanks for the info and advice.

We had something very similar happen with our girl. She was on a few different meds to treat her UTI, but throughout she would pee in her sleep, or sometimes on laps... just peeing without knowing she was doing it at all. Our doctor said it could be a few things, which we ruled out one by one: UTI (the sleep-peeing happened even after her other symptoms disappeared so we ruled that out), a conformation or bladder formation issue (ruled out by an ultrasound), or just that she's a puppy and will grow out of it. Seems to be the latter, as she is just over 17 weeks now and we haven't seen the issue for about a week. I'd check in with the vet to rule out the other issues, but it really may by something she grows out of quite quickly.

After vet visit, her PH WAS ToO high causing crystals and addition salt in bladder. Standard UTI common in all large to giant breed females. Root problem is their growth and the skin stretching in process giving bacteria easier access. 10 days of amox and anti inflamtory, with a 30 day probiotic to stimulate good bateria growth to fight off futher complications and future issues. Peeing in sleep
Escalated due to having UTI. As UTI subsides the unknowing piddle should also. Looking at about 13 day turnaround from vet. Know anyone in chicago looking for good vet, have em look me up. Thanks everyone, hope this info can now return the favor to other in need

Yes, it is amazing to watch them grow in front of your eyes. More than likely there will be a "terrible two" stage, then after that, they are truly the most wonderful, gentle, loving dogs you can ever have.

she was experiencing random stool consistency. took to vet today to find out that she has giardia, and a few issues with specific additives, only one in her food Sorbic acid. We are starting Flagyl for the Giardia, proin for the Leakage, and her now normal 2 spoons yogurt.
