I recently bought a Presa canario.I bought him as a registered dog.His papers are fake.I am wondering if anyone has an FIC registered dog and could help verify what the seal looks like so that i can press charges.The seal on his papers say OFFICIAL SEAL OF EXCELLENCE not FIC as they should.This is a long shot but am hoping to get some form of justice on fradulent papers.Thanks.

If you were promised FIC papers you should know it is a joke registry and not taken seriously by any prominent registry.
That could be the reason your stamp says what it does.
They will register anything, including the ever popular new designer mutts...er... dogs.
I am sorry to say.
You would want an FCI registration or a FCPR to have a legit pedigree.

I have a Presa Canario, FIC is not correct. The papers should read on top FEDARACION CANOFILA DE PUERTO RICO. There should be an FCI Logo on the right side, It should have the sire, dam breeder, color, breed info all on there. You should have had to have filled out the paperwork and mailed it to the FCI, and in return get the registration certificate. Im sorry you got taken, i do hope he is pure bred, do you know the names of the dam and sire, and maybe the kennel?

If you post some pictures, people here should be able to give you a good idea if he is pure bred or not.
