Well Smokeycat...technically Sage always tries to kill me as she likes to lay across my neck and choke me. And Hector, ours don't get up on the couch so I have to actually get on the floor with them to snuggle. I do it every night since I know they are cuddle bugs and want to snuggle.

And a throwback from when we moved into our house a year ago

Yes they have a very special connection. Jack is her 8th birthday present. He jumped on her lap at breeder and refused to leave her side, this is how she's chosen Jack. We tried to look at other puppies as well but puppy Jack didn't give up, he kept following Elise around: pick me, me, ME! Then I used to take him at school. He was approx 4-5 months old. I think the first word he ever's learnt was "Elise". I was asking him "where's Elise?" and he was perfectly able to identify her among all the girls running around... same age, same looks, same uniforms. Now whenever I ask "where's Elise" Jack goes into emergency mode: as I said on another topic, he even ignored 2 big macho mastiff males walking towards him, to go find the child...
