Rescued 4 month old male mastiff mix

Hi everyone,

Picked him up Monday. He's settling in nicely. Have seen a lot of conflicting opinions on food types, puppy or adult. I'm so afraid of causing a problem in adulthood. Help me! Why is there large breed puppy food I it causes problems?

I feed raw so I can't be of much help picking out a kibble. Smart Family is our resident kibble expert. Hopefully, she will chime in a little later.

I remember when I first got my dog 10 years ago I was so worried what to feed him I nearly had a heart attack when my friend gave him some pizza! Since then I've caught him chowing down on dead rotting salmon by the river. that's before he rolled in it. Yecch.

for kibble ive been feeding Acana which was good, but now I've also switched to raw so .....
