Being a long time pit bull owner, I thought i seen it all, I never knew a dog could be so diverse as she. She is my youngest daughter, who suffers from anxiety emotion support animal. Yet she is the one who breaks up the fist fights by getting in between my daughter's or grabbing onto their hands or shirt and pulling them onto the ground and sitting onto the aggressor until i can get to them to defuse the situation, But she is also a huge lover, My teddy bear. She get's jealous of the kids if they are sitting near or on my and will get in between us and push them away with her head so she can climb onto my lap and soak up all the love. Lol. She knows when my children should be expected home from school and will stand in the window minutes before they are to get home to watch them talk from the car to the house and bark at anyone who dares to walk near them, Yet when she is outside she is so friendly to everyone. I can have her off leash in the yard and she will not move as she cautiously watches people walk past and continues to watch them until they get out of sight yet, If she is on our porch and someone stops in front of our home for any reason or if someone is carrying a bat she instantly goes into a dog that is almost uncontrollable. She LOVES animals, Which is also a plus as i do a lot of rescuing. But one thing that i had never seen from any other dog i have owned is her her lack of fear. No matter what is thrown at her she does not back down from it. (Unless it is a trash bag) It's funny because one morning i had just sent the kids off to school and i was upstairs going through clothes to donate to purple heart when i heard all this commotion coming from downstairs followed by her barking in a tone i had never heard her barking in before. Immediately i thought someone was trying to get into my house so i went to investigate and as i reached the top of the steps i seen her guarding the steps from the bottom as she snarled and viciously barked at something in the middle of my living room as all the fur on her back stood on end. I leaned over to look to see who she was barking at, Expecting to see a brazen intruder i instead found a trash bag i had forgotten to take all the way out of my house. LOL. This dog is something else and i absolutely love her with all of my being and it's known as my family refers to her as my third child. Getting back to the her lack of fear now, Over the summer i had been running errands all day and didn't have a chance to take her to the park so she could let off some energy so i took her around 10:30. I stood on the end of the park and let her off leash as she never goes to far before coming back but as she roamed around the park a truck pulled up on the side of me in the street. I began walking away from the truck and deeper into the park while calling to her as the person in the truck got out and started walking towards the front of his vehicle, With it being pitch black i couldn't see where she was and i wasn't about to leave her there so i screamed her name one last time and as i did so she came running like a bat out of hell barking at this person as she ran towards him. I called out to her and she stopped and came back as the guy jumped back into his truck and took off. Than there was another time that i was out looking for my cat who had gotten out, i was calling his name as i searched for him as she roamed around doing her own thing when she stopped and started looking into the darkness near a alleyway. I called to her but she didn't move so i went to look to see if it was my cat but it sent her into a frenzy and she took off into the darkness, Now i am screaming for her to come back and she does but while looking into the darkness i see a man running around a corner. Thinking this guy just happened to be walking by and she scared him i turned around to take her inside when she started barking. I had her by the collar at this point but that didn't stop her from pulling out of it and trying to take off again. I shined the flashlight on this guy who was standing there frozen and told him to hurry up and walk on by but to cross the street and not walk past us. Prior to me getting her there was a man who would come to my home in the middle of the night and throw stones at my window pleading for me to come outside. He was not afraid of my staffy and would always come in the middle of the night, When i looked no one would be there. I called the cops on so many occasions that they started coming in packs and would surround the entire block cutting off all exits but i believe this person had a scanner and would leave as soon as the call went out. Well it eventually stopped but last year while sitting outside a man walked by staring up at me. As i do with everybody that walks by i said hello and expected him to keep walking but instead he stopped and proceeded to tell me how pretty i was and that he had been WATCHING ME FOR AWHILE!!!!!!! I had never seen this man before so instantly i thought of the guy that was throwing things at my window. I ended up getting up and going inside locking all the doors behind me as he just stood there in front of my home. I hadn't seen him again until recently, Eisha was out back of our home off leash and i seen a body walking along the back street. Normally she would of been fine but something told me to go out there and stand with her so i did. As the person got closer i recognized him but couldn't figure out from where, Eisha had already had her eyes on him as all three of us stared at each other. I don't know what happened or what she sensed but she pulled right out of my grip and started barking at him walking towards him. I told him to stand still and not to move thinking she would back off but that was the wrong thing to tell him to do as it made her even more furious. I was able to get a hold of her and begged for him to walk fast because i honestly didn't know how long i could hold her back as she was trying with everything in her to break free but luckily he ran and she quickly calmed down. I always call her my angel in mastiff clothing and i truly believe that's what she is, just got to find out what exactly she is because if i can find out, I don't think i will ever own another breed. :0) Love her to pieces.
