Thanks everyone I had a vet look up his tattoo number. It registered to being tattood at the SPCA but I could always try! Worth a shot! Is it ok to post dog questions on here even if in reference to my rotti and not a mastiff? I have some questions about maintaining joints etc. I use recovery with Mav and have used nupro and want to see what others use for their big dogs as far as joint etc stuff. I hope its ok to ask that kinda thing here Looks like a really nice forum of great people. Love seeing all of the pics!
And thanks also Mary.. I think I am the lucky one to get Maverick in my life. The ole fella has been there for me through and through Now its my turn to make sure as he gets older he is given everything he needs to keep healthy and in my life as long as possible

A lot of us have more than just mastiffs on here so post away and we will answer as much as possible. I haven't heard of SPCA's tattooing just micro-chipping so that is something new for me.

Oh? Well I shall confirm and try to research this. I just took the info delivered so perhaps its time to be a detective and see if it is from a breeder and was just marked down at the SPCA rather than was marked IN his ear at the SPCA.

Thanks for that. I shall see what other info I could get. It would be amazing to get anything otherwise to try to find more info on him.

Jess, my boy has a tattoo in his ear also. Im checking with my vet to see if they know how to track it down. Last Saturday we celebrated our 10 Years Gotcha Day. How time flies!
