Is her crate too big? If it is they will potty in it. Is her crate in your bedroom? First week can be a little rough when they are settling in. :) When you take her out to potty do you have her on leash until she does go potty? I would recommend doing this if you are not that way you know that she has gone and then you can let her off the leash as a treat to play after she goes. :)

I discovered quickly with Jiggers that he didn't whine in his crate until after he had peed, he didn't like a wet bed. I had to set an alarm so that I could catch him before he went and take him outside, even if that meant waking him up. He was only 6 weeks when I got him so I started with 2 hr intervals and by the time he was 10 weeks he could sleep through the night. I was a zombie for much of that month but he never went in his crate, unless he was sick, again. He even learned that waking me up was the correct action to take if he did need to go.

Her crate is the biggest one I could find but has a divider in it so I made it as small enough for her to turn around in no it's not in my bedroom

image.jpg she is so stinking cute. I can't hardly get her to play it seems like all she wants to do is sleep we can only get about one good play session in a day otherwise she just wants to cuddle

Very cute. Being a fast growing puppy is hard work! My EM didn't seem to know he was a puppy until he was 6 months, he preferred to sleep rather than play. When I questioned his vet her quests was that he need all the energy he got from his food the grow and there wasn't anything leftover to be able to play.

We struggled so much about getting Baci's ears done. I love the look, but we ultimately decided to stay with the natural. Harley is beautiful and her ears look great. She and Baci could be twins (except for the ears). lol.
