So the mommy I am getting my CC from officially went into labor today and no puppies yet :( I check the breeder's facebook (along with about 15 other people, lol) about every 20 minutes!! Hahaha.

So for those of you actual breeders on here: I don't know how you guys play the waiting game. It's frustrating!!! :tantrum: Lol. I work at 9:30 am tomorrow and it's currently 12:28 here and I bet i won't be asleep until I see that the mommy is doing ok and puppies are on their way

Yay!!! God, it seems like not that long ago I was doing the same thing.
Time will just fly by. Are you going to visit them?
Male or female?
SOOOOO EXCITING!!!

So far there is 9 puppies. The breeder is expcting as least 11 (which was my guess lol) I don't know yet if I will be driving to OH to visit, I am contemplating it though!!
I don't have a preference (sp?) on the sex. I would prefer a blue brindle. And I explained to my breeder, I know most people go by the sex to decide, but since I don't care which sex it is and with the amount I am paying, I'd like my color to be the 2nd most important factor with the 1st being health and temperment of course.
Thanks!!! :)

Mom had 10 pups on her own, the 11th one wouldn't come out, so mama had a c-section and sadly, number 11 did not make it :( There are 7 males, 3 females :) 8 black, 1 chocolate and 1 red/chocolate. The mama and the 10 bundles are doing great!!

Here is a pic of the family:

So sorry about number 11. Looks like the others are doing great! I notice there was no blue brindle. Are you going to wait for a blue brindle or go with another color? They all seem beautiful to me. Please keep the pics coming if you can.

Sorry to hear about number 11.
Just a question though, chocolate?
As in like a chocolate lab chocolate?
That is not a color that is in the standard for the Corso, or recognized as a color in the breed, which is why I am asking.
I have never seen a chocolate Corso so would be curious.

I am going to see how the red/choc one turns out (if the breeder doesnt keep it and if the stud owner's dog doesn't take it. I have first pick). I was also hoping there would be one the same color as Mama, she is the weirdest kind of blue brindle, it's like an orange under-tone. It's awesome to look at. Otherwise I may wait for the next breeding. I met that female also when I went out there and she is Gorgeous!! So there are about 5 weeks until I pick, so we shall see :)

Honestly, I haven't the slightest. I have never seen one either. I can surely ask. I was wondering what that is going to look like. From the pictures, they all look black, expect one with an orange tie who looks brindle.

Thanks everyone!! I will definately keep pictures coming as I get them! :)
