I can honestly say I love the pictures I see on this forum of the filas. I will never see one of course as I live in an area that Filas are an unknown of breed to the general public lol.

Beautiful dogs .

Me too. I'm always mentioning my great admiration for breeds I will likely never meet or own. Beautiful dogs.

IMG_7428.jpgIMG_7431.jpgAngelina ( gold colored easter egger chicken) checking out her audience this evening and Betsy ( black old english bantam hen) and Sully. My son dropped on of the eggs they laid today and I gave it to Cassie and she ate it up - a short time later I cracked the other one ( note to self - don't keep in pocket - LOL) and I gave it to Sully who did not seem to enjoy it as much as Cassie did. LOL

The cuban lizard is one of Cassie and Pete's hunting toys - they are nasty little things ! Wily as hell too.

My son loves the animals as much as I do - the chicken thing is more fun than we thought it would be - I am really happy I set up the little chicken run and wish I lived in the rural areas so I could build a larger pen for them so they could free range during parts of the day

Your son looks so happy with his eggs :) Pretty neat little lizard too

I have always wanted chickens but I think my husband would kill me. I did manage to convince him that I "needed" a baby cow, so I got a heifer holstein calf :)

HAHAHA - if he let you get a calf then chickens should be easy ! LOL they are easy to care for and they give you fresh eggs !!!!
All you will need is a pig and you will have breakfast barnyard :)

In theory breakfast barnyard sounds awesome but it would be more like egg breakfast because i'm a wimp and couldn't eat them lol
