I would like to have some recommendations on loading/unloading my EM. i have seen ramps and hitch steps. Do you have a favorite and why? Thanks

I have a ramp to get Kryten in and out of my HHR. He loves it, if I don't happen to pull it out he will sit down and refuse to even try to get his own butt in until I get it out for him.

We have an F350 club cab with the running-board steps... Denna just climbs in using the steps.
Getting out is a bit of a drop, so a ramp may be in our future. She doesn't use the steps to unload gracefully... she just drops out. She goes slow, so not really a 'jump'... but she does land pretty hard on her front feet due to the distance.

I just let Mufasa put his paws up then I do the unflattering butt lift and he's in. But I have a golf so its not high at all.

I have a ramp. My daughter and I LOVE it. Oden is 5mo and pushing 100lbs. We take him out a few times a week now we have the ramp. We got ours online at Dr Fosters and Smith. We have the XLarge its 18lbs, 20" wide 47" to 87" in length. Its will hold up to 300 lbs. and cost $124.99. It is great we both have f150 trucks. and we put the back seats down. It works out very well.

Jade flies in, I mean jumps in, and Odi walks in, sometimes he needs the butt lift though. Both dogs just step down and out. For Odi it's really just a step with his long legs. I would think an EM would have legs long enough for the average SUV. My Boerboels are not as big as EMs. Well Odi might be as tall.
