Switching food=diarrhea

A LITTLE more is ok, its when you start getting into cups more that it really starts being an issue usually. Another option would be to add more straight protein, maybe boiled chicken or cheap beef. However I'd make this a meal of its own rather than add it to the kibble.

I would only add pasta if your sure she has no allergies/skin issues. Dogs really shouldn't eat carbs. That being said i have had many dogs eat plenty off my plate and never have a problem. It was not until my problem child did I start learning a lot of this. The other two always gets stuff off our plates when Cane isn't looking.

I am just looking for something to fill her up and now, add some ponds back, with out adding too much bad stuff. With her recent wight loss, you can see too many ribs, the spine and some hip bone. She does not look emaciated, but she does look skinny to me.:( She does not act like she is sick, she just acts hungry, or maybe I should have her checked for worms? I have not seen anything in her stool, since I am a stool natzi, and check color, concistency and content......

How about eggs, sans shell. Scrambled or raw on top of her food. Boiled eggs are a between meals snack around here.

Thanks guys. I gave her 1/2 cup of food with a little bit of noodles in it and some melon, and she calmed down a bit. We will see how her poos are after that

Try adding white rice to her mix to help with the pooping and it makes her feel fuller. We have finally gotten our switch over and pooping is right where it should be! Now if I could only repair all of the skin allergy hair damage......

I have added some oatmeal in with her food, to see if it will make her feel fuller longer. I think she needs some more fiber in her diet and read somewhere to add oatmeal and/or apples. I have started with oatmeal, and we will see where that leads us.......

I went through hell with my two EM's & I am now where you are..... Their kibble only comes in 24lb bags at 55 bucks a pop, do the math two 5 month old male em's don't last very long...... I supplement their food with grass fed beef & liver from a farmer near by but I also throw in yams, zukes, squash (they luv veggies)..... But I am hesitantly ascared very afraid to switch their kibbles, not after the shit storm I went through, it literally shot out of their asses & hit kitchen wall..... I can laugh now but I wasn't at the time, oh gag me & the smell was the worst..... But very soon I have to look for a new no chick grain free kibble..... I am spending more on kibble than the beef & liver, go figure..... Ugh

We had solid poop today!!!! Instead of the fortiflora, I added acidophilus, the human form, and it seem to have helped. I am crossing my fingers that it will last. The lawn guys will appreciated it since I can actually clean up after her now:pray:
@M&M: That was the reason I switched. I had her on Castor and pollux and the largest bag I could find was a 15 lb bag, and $50.00. But things are moving in a solid direction!!

Very happy she is doing better, nothing worse they are miserable your miserable Ugh.... The price of special kibbles without the EXTRA's is just wrong & they should make bigger bags available..... Considering it is made for dogs with digestive issues & the hell we go through trying to find what works for them...... & there is the rub huh, they got us by the pocket books, still soooooooo wrong..... Less ingredients, it should be cheaper to make & less expensive for us..... TEAM BIGGER BAGS.... ;)

And we will now add peanut butter to the list of allergies.......She has been solid for many days now, so I figured I would give her a treat this morning. Stuffed her kong with the usual, frozen broccoli, and figured I would give her an extra treat and topped it of with some peanut butter. It was not long before she had to go outside and, yep, diarrhea again.
