Any creative suggestions to keep her stimulated and maybe sooth the pain?

Fiona is 5months now and 50 lbs....
so far, we use kongs, frozen chew ropes, ice cubes (chicken brother, beef broth and water) and many other things like stuffies and nylabones.... for now, till she starts to destroy them....

Anything your dog LOVES? :-D

My EM doesn't do well with rawhide.... gets carried away and swallowed too big of chunks so I avoid it with Fiona too...
We tried frozen strawberries today. :-D She looked at me funny at first, but liked them.

mine loves it. You give him one of the big $8 ones, and he can consume it in about 10 minutes. I also like to buy the bones that are all big and nasty looking, wrapped in plastic....makes it look like you have a dead animal in your back yard. Lu never cared much for anything synthetic, and Im definitely sure he would pout at me if I tried giving him a strawberry. LOL.

Both of our dogs looove fruits and veggies. ;) we only give bones to fiona...for now. Our em breaks chips off which could be very dangerous. but they both come running to the kitchen when I say, "carrot". Lol

Trinity was going through bones faster than I could keep up with her, got a couple nylon ones at the peak of her teething and they're still around four months later. As soon as she hears chopping in the kitchen she comes running. ^^^ Carrots are the favourite. Zucchini, celery, if onion falls on the floor... of course, girl will eat anything. lol

Only thing that I trust to keep Junior gnawing for hours are bully stix. I've had to jam my whole fist down my previous EM's mouth too many times to pull out something rawhide he was choking on.
To be fair, bully stix aren't perfect. You'll have to take them away when they get around 4-6" or they just magically disapear.

Have you tried stuffing a kong with pnut butter or cream cheese and freezing it? Great for teething and for a toy to have in the crate if they are going to be in the crate a while. I have a friend that stuffs a kong with cream cheese and green beans and freezes it. I know it sounds nasty but her dogs LOVES it.

I have i ice cream bucket that i freeze and put frozen cube on the deck. She has something cold for several hours, this seems to be helping with teething, and is great to keep her cool in the warm weather :)

I find frozen marrow bones, cut to about 1.5 inches work good. I just take them away before they get to the point of danger.
And frozen Banana's outside, our girl will do anything for banana
Besides that we have a kong and a never ending treat ball that work as well.

Cody, I want to get her a never ending treat ball!! Spendy tho.... it's worth it? Seems great! She loves her kong stuffed with apple slices or puppy crack! She is not a big fan of bananas, she will eat it but not LOVE it. I tried that for training- bombed! Do you find the marrow bones to be too small at 1.5inches? I just imagine a mastiff swallowing it lol. Fiona i wouldn't worry so much, but Abby maybe. They pretend wrestle over toys and bones and She has done some damage to Fiona's bone before haha.
Shea, That frozen bucket sounds great! But we are in an apt right now so I am sure our neighbors would love a constant dripping on their deck .... ;) hehe

If you have a large water bowl you could put the frozen cube in that. Really workes well for Byrdie :)

Does anyone have any trouble with their puppy teething and having diarrhea? She is eating, drinking and acting just fine but has some really watery stool? Any suggestions?

Teething is the process by which a baby tooth erupts, or pierce the gums. Dentition is also called "cutting" teeth. Teething is medically called odontiasis. The vast majority of babies grow their first teeth when they are between 4 and 7 months of age.
Why are describing infant teething? Lol dog baby teeth are in by 8 weeks..... Adult teeth between 4&7 months ish. Fiona has all her adult teeth now but back and forth about chewing everything!
