Video instructions for teaching your dog to "find it"

I know next to nothing about real scent work, but this comes across as a fairly simple way to get the concept across, and it being in video helps. Apollo's not food driven, but is highly focused when he wants to be, Arty's highly food driven, but so not focused....not sure which is likely to get the concept....without actually just making off with the towel!

Great video Ruth. I don't use the "clicker" but I definitely want to try this with Bella. Thanks for posting :)

a marker word of "good!" or "yes!" the like would work just fine, I don't use clickers either lol

Cool! We're definitely going to try this! Denna loves working for the clicker (or "good"... she really likes that one, too, which I use more often). It's pouring rain out today - teaching 'find it' inside where it's warm and dry sounds like more fun than a walk at this point.

I subscribed to the youtube channel and the lady's blog, too. She has all sorts of good info out there!
Thanks for sharing!!
