We actually went on a big Corso walk with them and a few other CC last weekend. Would love to see pictures, my friends male looks very much like his dad, actually his granddad and the female is their mom, would love to see who your boy takes after

Hi there. Very awesome to meet you all. Was your female born in May of last year? And the father is Fade?

My husband says the parents names are on the contract, and it's at his office. I guess I just never knew the info. I will find out on Monday.

Here are some pictures of our boy. He is really one of the sweetest dogs I have ever owned. PS: he has cherry eye.. now in both eyes. So some of the pics will show it. My poor baby.

He grew so fast. Now around 100lbs. He was almost a solid black when he arrived, but now the brindle golden/red colors are starting to come through. Very gorgeous.

Awww Heather, he is beautiful Yes our Gia's birthdate is May 10, 2010, the Fade and Raja litter. She is almost 90lbs now, it seems like yesterday that she was the same size as our miniature poodle. We love her to death! I will post some pics but I have to photobucket them first.

Did you get the Cherry Eye fixed, it looks painful.

We had the first fixed.. then the other eye developed cherry eye. Its an ongoing problem.. we will have the cherry eye in the opposite eye fixed in March.

People in the corso world commonly agree to have them removed rather than tacked...plus i believe it's a less expensive procedure....good luck!

It was offered, but I declined. I had a shepherd without use of her tear ducts and her eyes kept her in misery. I want to find out all the facts on both proceedures. Is cherry eye really common with Corsos?

It is about 1 in 12.

I sent the breeder a long email today about it, asking for her advice. I love our vet, but he doesn't have a lot of experience with Mastiffs... so I will follow through with what the breeder recommends.

Hi, first time on this forum. I'm excited to know that there is such a huge Corso family out there. I am expecting my pup in about 5 weeks or so. He will be coming from CastleGuard in Co. This is my first time being a Corso mommy and I'm super
excited. I was a little leery about getting another dominant pup ( i had a Chow who was a big baby)but after researching people who
own a Corso pup and speaking with Shauna, I feel I have made an excellent choice. Shauna has reassured me several times that her pups have super great temperaments which really helped me in my decision. I feel like I am expecting a baby!! Haha. Anyway, I just wanted to say hi and share my excitement with other Corso parents !!!
