What do you guys think of Leerburgs method.

I have watched a few of his videos (yes, I paid for them) when I was at a loss with Some of Sadie's behaviors, I do not agree with all of it but he has some good points. The biggest thing that I was actually chocked to see, was how he use the prong collar. But, some points are good. Just like with most trainers some things works for you and some don't.

Ed Farley is a Compilation trainer this is why you see his methods the way they are and how he uses the prong. It is an old school method of training, still to this day many older Schutzhund folks use this type b/c it forces the dog into what you want it to do now not three days from now....

Hes a good guy just and old style trainer :)

I think Sadies Mom said it for me.

I've yet to see any trainer I agree with 100%. Some of that is the type of dog I usually work with (primitives). He does come across as more old school, but in alot of ways I'd rather work with that than someone who's purely "Positive Only" really, though both schools of thought have their bad points.

I was responding to Mike's question about Leerburg and the page he posted? Michael Ellis doesn't ring a bell as someone I've watched but I've poked through a lot here and there so that may not mean much.
