Whimpering

Hi guys! I have a 2 year old dogue de Bordeaux and today her behaviour has been strange and slightly confusing :/ I got up this morning to find just the one 'duck' stuffed toy in the middle of the floor, she has looked after this toy compared to others! But any ways she's been whimpering all day and the missis was sat with her and she went and picked out sed toy. And then gave it too her and then started whimpering so are lass decided to put the toy out of reach to see the reaction and straight away she was concerned and watching and still whimpering she's been whimpering all night since I've come home from work and even when we was outside playing ball and having fun she still started whimpering. I've checked all her paws for cuts and stuff but nothing she seems good an active in her self but the connection between this crying and toy has me worried she may have had a phantom pregnancy? Could this be the case? Any info or help is much appricitated! Thanks in advance

My coworker had a similar incident, her pup ended up being constipated.

Any body?? She's still doing it now its been 3 days she's going to the toilet regular all seems fine she just crying all the time, she doesn't even have tail between legs she's crying whilst wagging her tail and fussing over me lol she has never done that.

Sound's like false pregnacy to me. Not that I'm an expert in any way. When was the last time she was in heat? My American Bulldog growing up had two false pregnacys. She was very odd, during them let me tell you haha. She had one toy she carried wtih her constantly and then she would tear it and kill it finally lol. But she would carry it around for a good few days. And would be very upset if you took it, ooor threw it etc. She would act like you were hurting it when you threw it.
