Here is Mateo doing his Zen thing in the snow...literally, he drops down and stares off into the distance. Mastiff meditation, I guess.

It WAS so beautiful this morning...people were just standing, looking around...awestruck.

Not many good shots to choose from-- either they were in shadow, or my timing was off. There was a moment when Mateo ran after a ball I tossed and he completely wiped out in the snow, skidding and rolling over on his face...(the graceful one, lol.) But, you know, didn't have the camera set to video, and all that...

Aww, thank you for the compliments on my boy---I feel so lucky to have him; best dog ever.

And, about the snow- I hear you. That day was especially pretty- now, it's turned to sleet, and more precip right at the freezing mark, so the city is a slushy mess, ugh. But, when we do get a big snowfall, at least Mateo reminds me how fun it CAN be, LOL.
