The fact that he needed plastic surgery to 'be attractive to breeders' or the behavior of the owner? Or both......my vote is both.

On a serious note...that's a rediculous amount of money to spend on a dog (just to own), not to mention having cosmetic surgery to fool other owners into wanting to breed with this dog. It's false advertising! However...that was one beautiful boy, if only his owner wasn't so money hungry he could have lived longer

In china the TM is a status symbol for the rich. I have a feeling that they want to be able to brag about how much their dog cost so it proves they are richer then the next person. There are some nice dogs, but the price gouging is insane.

I vaugly recall discussion of reincarnation when the price was being discussed....I wasn't paying that close of attention.
