  • Welcome back!

We decided to spruce things up and fix some things under the hood. If you notice any issues, feel free to contact us as we're sure there are a few things here or there that we might have missed in our upgrade.

WTH are these going to look like???

There are pretty much three styles of OEB (Olde English Buldogges).

You have leavitt who is the creator of the "victorian" OEB (smallest one) http://www.leavittbulldogassociation.com/ (which was already posted)

Hermes "hermes" OEB (biggest one) http://www.hermesoldebulldogs.com/ .....I believe the originator of this type got a divorce from his wife and she took half the dogs and apparently the name... anyway that is the rumor.

and then you got the "Renascence" OEB (in the middle one). http://gargoylebulldogs.com/GARGOY~1/Page_1x.html

Anyway they are all recreations of the "original" bulldog (not the crippled warrior called English bulldog of today). Out of all of them I like the mid sized one the best as they seem a much more capable dog. I have actually seen several examples of each and the renascence one seemed to trump them all. the Hermes were just too big and doofy, the leavitt ones seemed like in shape EBs but the renascence ones were very powerful, tenacious and had a decent protective side to them. I will stop short of calling them a performance animal however they had an insane amount of strength for a kinda decent amount of time... more than you would think but nothing like an APBT or anything like that.

dont even ask me why I know so much about this shite... All I know is that I am retarded about dogs and i go out of my way and drive hundreds of miles just to learn one small lesson, lol.

As far as the original guestion about what I think it would look like... probably kinda like the Hermes bulldogges as he used mastiff in his recreation makeup...or so it has been said, lol.

I read voracoiusly and am constantly reminded of how much I don't know lol. I knew there were other varieties of the bulldof, but the Levitt was the only one I was familier with.

My brother had a dog straight out of gargoyles (when he used to sell to the public, now he only sells to breeders). The dog was one of the biggest gargoyle dogs at the time. he was 82lbs of solid rock hard muscle and the dog slept 3/4s of the day. He would easily jump 5' and had a head the size of a basketball...not even close to exaggerating. The dog died when he was 12 years old and was out of Hugo and I believe Gladys of Gargoyle... if you saw the dog the day before he died you wouldve sworn he was no more than 4 years old. He ended up dying of an internal infection that no one caught as the dog showed zero symptoms...my brother just woke up one day and found him lifeless in his bed. He was a very cool dog but plenty animal aggressive... only dog he would respect was my Fila bitch.

Dmike, Johnny English the Unintelligent secret agent from the U.K played by Mr. Bean or Johnny English the dog guy? either way...No! lol.

M&M, Gargoyles is the name of the breeder... bullies is the name given to "American bullies" which is a completely other breed.

From what I see here you could fill either set of shoes. You make a lot of statements that Johnny English (the dog guy) makes, the same uninformed dribble that has got him banned from countless APBT, Mastiff and Molosser groups. Using terms like Game dogs and bad nerve. Sorry I don't usually make personal attacks but I have a true dislike for the person and his ilk.

Oh brother. O.K you obviously know much more about working dogs than I do so by all means edumacate these folks and when things go awry then blame it on the person not socializing their dog properly and not the fact that you gave advice off the cuff when you really had no idea what you were talking about.

Since you have so much knowledge about your SABs (not BBs, you don't even know the abbreviation of your own breed) and you stated that they will protect you please state what formal tests you have done to prove that and how those tests were performed. Thank you master... yours truly, grasshopper.
