Sorry to hear that
taraaan yeah i would agree, i would probably say that a well bred rottweiler is probably the best guard dog and has a stronger jaw, but the European doberman's are really intimidating, and it's hard to get a Euro doberman. Most are smaller and slender, and don't look nearly as intimidating. The video i posted was of European doberman's, and the video of the Rottweiler i posted, really doesn't do him justice. A rottweiler is about an inch shorter than a male doberman, and is often heavier like mike said, probably by 20 pounds maybe lil more.I think Id prefer to own a Dobe, I just find thwm more intimidating looking and around here Rotts are SO common....bordering on lab popularity. The dobe and perhaps the beauceron, are the only 2 breeda that if I owned I would want to crop eara. I prefer most breeds with a natural ear.
European dobermans are not just intimidating they are far better guard dogs than rotts.I have a rott but it is slow compared to my uncles dobe.Dobes are also more intelligent and they are more athletic. They can jump very high and i've even saw a warlock dobe around 120lbs jumbed and went through a 6 to 7 feet wall. You can not outrun a dobe. But when a rott get's you you are good as dead. They have one of the strongest bite force.I just love rotts.taraaan yeah i would agree, i would probably say that a well bred rottweiler is probably the best guard dog and has a stronger jaw, but the European doberman's are really intimidating, and it's hard to get a Euro doberman. well roots are molosser breeds, but dobe's have molosser ancestory and they are now not seen as molosser breeds.Just wanted to note:
Both Rottweilers & Dobermans *ARE* Molosser breeds if I remember correctly.
Not all Molossers are mastiffs. I think there may be a few sheep dogs that are molosser as well as bull dogs etc.
Yes they are actually purebreed dobes. Most are breed under FCI standards.Small and thin dobes are breed with AKC standard in mind.Thats why european dobes and great danes are stockier than their american cousins.I seriously doubt that they are mixing Dobies. The people that are into the Doberman are very elitist just like us Mastiff people and we abhor the idea of mixing in a new temperament, new genetic defects, and structure changes to our breeds. Being someone that has raised Dobermans, Pit-bulls, other pure breeds and mutts I would say that the warlock just comes from breeder selection. You breed your biggest to the biggest to the healthiest then the biggest then back to the healthiest until you get this big healthy dog. Good breeding practice it breed big to the middle dog then from that litter middle to a middle. Never small to small and big to big.
Well they maybe don't know much about european dobe's.Some breeders don't follow any of the standard's as mike said thats why their dobes are extra large. That doesn't always mean they are not dobe's.It is all down to you which kind of dobe do you want.A show dobe that follows AKC standard or a working dobe that follows FCI standards.Hey mike do a web search from what I'm reading warlocks are just byb scam.i was on dobe forum and people were getting thrashed for saying they had warlocks.also there was a ch borong of warlock but he was average size and mild temper that was bred often
I agree with you that some people call them warlocks. And they are the only dobe's that have power and temperment to protect it's family.A well bred Doberman is not a breed to mess with, these are the European lines, some people call them "Warlocks".

I don't support dog fight but asking this question for curiosity.I've seen many videos on youtube rott's fighting pit's,bullterrier, bulldogs etc.But almost all the time the rott wins and finishes the fight quickly. But illigal fighters prefer pits over rott's.Why so?And were dobe's also used in fighting like rott's?
Believe it or not, boxers are also considered molossers. I think it also has something to do with skull size & shape; pretty boxy heads.Just wanted to note:
