Collars!!

Now that (I think) Mason is within a few inches of his final neck size, I can do some serious collar shopping. Well, window shopping at least...I have two on the way right now. I would love to see what collars you all have for your Mastiffs, and of course, where you got them. A lot of websites stop at 20 or 22 inches, and the pet stores around here are not even worth mentioning.

Please post those Mastiff fashions!!

These are the two I have on the way:

Those are really nice! I haven't put any money into anything yet as Ruger is 7 months and still growing by the day but I do roam around and window shop on occasion to find those that interest me for when he is pretty much there. I look forward to seeing everyones choices.

I LOVE the Mollie collar!!! Very nice!

Love the top one! Gorgeous :)

Thank you ladies! I'm hoping it gets here today or tomorrow so Mason can wear it to his first day of therapy dog class on Sunday.

You need this one, yeah?

Oli Collars, of course :)

That is one amazing collar. I LOVE Oli's designs, but alas, they're too rich for my blood. Maybe one day.

Come on folks, I can't be the only one with a colar obsession!

I know, right? I always go and drool over them but I haven't figured a way to sneak that kind of purchase past the hubby yet. It's probably a good thing Oscar needs his training collars 'cause otherwise I'd have an excuse to get something more decorative :)

Love the top one! I use the standard nylon collars, my boy is in a large hand me down from my prev OEM. Funny, I was ok going from the baby collar to the small to the med. On Sat we went to the Large and I was sad that he is getting so big! They don't stay puppy sized long enough!

I have a collar obsession also. I had Skyler evaluated for Schuzhund and the trainer was saying that when he works his dogs he uses different collars and leashes, like one set for everyday use, one for obedience, one for protection work, ect. I said "I could totally do that, I love buying different collars and leashes." I haven't bought collars from either of theses two websites but I like how they look, I will probably wait till Sky is done growing to get anything from either place: http://pacocollars.com/ & http://karmacollars.com/.

It makes me sad when I can't use a good enough excuse to buy Duchess a ton of collars.

Here's a sampling of Daisy's collars. Thank goodness her neck will stay tiny! :)

They sure don't.

I think the Paco website was my introduction to fancy collars. I wasn't able to truly unleash my collar obsession in the past, though. I had a GSD and collars would just get lost in his fur. I only liked rolled leather collars on him. Mason, on the other hand, is like a blank canvas. I think collar-ability was a factor in me wanting red or fawn vs brindle. LOL

Oooo, I see two I MUST have on the Karma site!

Great collars. My brother is making mine for Daisy. He used to create some beautiful muzzles and collars for his American Staffordshire Terriers when the muzzling law came into effect. They were really well done, all hand made with leather. He even made a leather backpack for his one dog. He said he would once she got big enough so hopefully he will stick to it. It was funny, he would charge about 20 bucks for a handmade leather muzzle and I used to yell at him about that. The hours he would put into it was crazy but he loved making them and seeing the dogs in the collars and such.

You must post a pic when you get it! Leatherworking is such a neat skill to have.

I just got Mason's cheetah collar in. I was worried about the easy release buckle being flimsy, but the hardware is very solid and the collar itself is so well made. The pictures don't really capture the quality. I'm really really happy with it and am looking forward to ordering different color/design combinations.

I got the same clip thingy for our dogs' tags, as we require them to them at all times. That way I could change their collars like I change my socks. :) Ruby figured out how to get Sunny's off his collar; we went through Hell trying to find it in the dog yard. So they're stuck with the same collar all the time. Ho hum.
They now all wear collars to match their leashes. The leashes come from Bright & Beautiful Therapy Dogs. We just happened to find the collars at the local pet store. They looked awesome, walking into the Bullmastiff Nationals last year, all 4 with matching collars & leashes.
This dog has the leash:

However they collars are looking pretty tacky & faded now, so I'm on the hunt for new ones. Keep those styles coming!

I really wanna get Mufasa nicer collars than the nylon one he has now but he is 5 months old lol. I dont mind spending money on him in the least bit but Im afraid if I order him a collar by the time I get it he will be to big for it lol.

I odered Jagger and Roxie some not expensive leathery collars on amazon. I measured Jagger's neck and ordered it an inch bigger for the smallest size that way he'd still be kind of growing into it! They aren't anything special but they do look and stay on better than nylon collars anyway. I can't wait for them to be done growing so I can get them awesome collars like the ones on here!

Mason looks very handsome in his new collar too!
