We decided to spruce things up and fix some things under the hood. If you notice any issues, feel free to contact us as we're sure there are a few things here or there that we might have missed in our upgrade.
The one who did the stunts in that movie was 11 during filming and died at 14 but if you look at the ddbs in that movie they look a bit different than some of the huge boned specimens we have now
I think heavily using popular sires and closing the registries didn't do this breed much of a favor since the gene pool was so small to begin with but that's just my humble opinion
If you read http://www.modernmolosser.com/images/MM_09Su_Dogue-Triquet.pdf see how many times he mentions no exaggeration of size, wrinkles etc it's very important Also I think a lot of people miss the point that this isn't a giant breed but a large one. I hear a lot of people say my ddb is small bc he is 115 or 120lbs yet in interviews with him I have heard him state 130lbs for males is the max he likes to see
Seems like an opinion list at best. The EM was missing from that list, and while I am not complaining, we all know they aren't gonna live as long on average as a bloodhound.
I have to lean towards this thought. Even though all mastiffs tend to have a shorter lifespan, this list seems a little exaggerated from everything I've read, learned, or heard. Interesting read though, makes you want to hug your dog!
