11 week neo losing hair

My 11 week old Neo (Archie) has been gradually losing hair. Mostly on the underside of his body and some off of his ears. Its more of a thinning effect. He is black with a pinkish pigment (don't know if that matters). I took him to vet for a skin scrape and it was determined he did not have mites. Has anyone else gone through this? Is this common with puppies? Archie was one of two which survived a litter of five. The mom was malnourished when she arrived at the shelter where she had the pups. Archie's brother has no skin/fur problems. Any ideas?

I looked up some things on the internet and According to the symptoms it could be hypothyroidism... Eek!
Now I am completely stressed because if not treated it could snowball into other problems like deafness and aggression. And of course treatment would probably be expensive medications for the rest of his life. I hope, pray, it is not the case.

Coco is 14 weeks this week and she's also started losing hair from her underside and in fact started malting a bit, but as far as I aware it's natural?

Loosing hair is not normal. It could be the food, fleas, an allergy, demodex mange, sarcoptic mange, or thyroid problems.

Is the pup scratching? Are there bumps? Does the pup have a smell about them? Are the pups eating, drinking, potting and playing normally?

Everything on my end seems to be normal, she went to the vet 2 weeks ago and the vet seemed happy with her :/ maybe il take her back but everything seems happy and fine with her?

Its not demodex, mange or fleas. Archie still has that great puppy smell. Archie eats drinks and plays like a normal neo pup, along with his interval naps.

I dont think its just shedding, his underside is like evenly thinning as well as by his back legs. Im noticing its going up the side of his body. You can visibly see his skin coming through the coat and nothing is growing back. Almost like male pattern baldness.

Sorry mastinero didn't mean to hijack your post! Just really pleased you mentioned this as I didn't think much of it as I assumed it was just puppy fur loss as she used to be quite furry there! And yes definitely will go to another vet, changing her food tonight and will try that for a week and then go to the vets once we've given it a week if it's not got better!
