Yes, thank you: we have a playpen and we wait for a nice sunny day to take them out in the yard. :)

I bet Jack will be just great with them, older dogs, even older puppies are naturally gentle with puppies. When I got my JRTx 8 years ago (as a very small puppy) I had two big bouncy Rottweilers and was a bit worried initially but they were fantastic with her. Strict when needed (she was a little pain in the butt) but really gentle.

I still joke she was raised by Rottweilers. And at 25 lbs, she will dominate any dog of any size she meets, she's a very bossy bitch!

Puppies get the extra gentle treatment from big puppies and dogs.
When my guy met my uncle's new 7 lbs Shih-Tzu, he treated it like a breakable toy! Extra slow and steady.

We let them interact under very strict supervision and usually for few minutes at a time - Jack gets tense, dilated eyes at some point, the level of excitement is too high. I try to slowly increase their time together.
