Forgot to post what we have been doing lately...Thursday was only 15 minutes of balance work on the peanutFriday was only 20 minutes of fetch on a hillThis morning we did 30 minutes of fetch on a hill and we are going to do some balance work now!

Worked this little dog for over an hour today...

Combo of fetch on a hill, spring pole, flirt pole and balance work on the peanut.

What breed is Thalia? She's awesome!

My female JRT was only 15# but she was solid! Always won battles for toys, could out run everyone and was definitely top dog in the house. Lol

She's a Staffordshire Bull Terrier.

Looking good Thalia!!! Do you give her any supplements due to the fact that she is a fitness freak?

The only supplement that she gets is Glycoflex because she does have luxating patellas in both knees. Otherwise, it's just a balanced raw diet, turmeric and bone broth. She gets massage therapy to keep her feeling good. She has to eat proteins that are high in calories (I just put in a massive order for 82 pounds of duck). I find when she is eating chicken, pork, beef etc... she has to eat 5% of her body weight just to maintain her weight, whereas duck is closer to 3% of her body weight.

Hahahaha thanks! A lot of the other people are using supplements like creatine to help bulk their dogs up quickly. I was bound and determined go as natural as I could. The only reason she gets any supplements is just because of her knees, which are the lowest grade of luxating patellas that you can have, but they do still bother her sometimes.
