WTF, thanks for sharing the pics. Not to be a jerk but by chance is your dog crossbred with a DDB? Conformation wise it doesn't really stack up to any DDBs I've seen or standards I have read. Either way I’m sure they are a wonderful dog! Enjoy.

hi dont get to hung up on weight she looks a good weight the advise i was given by a lot of the super members on here is not to worry to much just try and keep her from getting to big to soon as can be bad for there hips and knees in later life if you tack care now you should not have problems later i have to question is she full ddb or a cross as she dos not have the short mussel as you can see in my little gypsy

We bought her from a good breeder etc she even told us if people say she is not ddb we can have our money back snd we love snd think she is amazing she also told us she is not show standard so will not look like all ddb I'm also in England where American Pitts are banned. Them pics are not the best I will put more up. Thanks for the comments. Also took her to get pet food and they said do you want large breed for your ddb before I said anything.

Just spoke to the breeder again and she I's full ddb she said she was not bred to be short and really stocky she will be a bit taller and more athletic but still a big girl.

Nice looking pup.
Have you seen the parents ?
She doesn't look DDB at all my guess would also be a pittX , but does that matter if she is the dog for you ?

My advise for you though would be to get full documentation, otherwise you could be in trouble if the police claims it's a pittX.

In denmark it is up to the owner to prove that the dog is not illegal if the police claims otherwise - and that can be tough !

Hello and welcome...Im in the UK as well. Have to agree she doesnt look all that DDB to me but regardless she is a very pretty girl. Also would make sure you do have some paper work on her stating breed, you know how rotten the law can be here with any breed that looks even close to being a pit. A friend of a friend recently had her staff cross taken off of her for not passing the 'look like' test. Its horrid and I dont mean to scare you but better to be told and safe than not!

I Have spoken to the breeder today and she ownes a dog training school and even said I van get my money back I would never do that as she is so friendly and we love her she asked me to send a pic to see if she could be a throw back she said both parents are ddb and the mother was bred more athletic what do you guy think. Has anyone saw a ddb like ours before. She said she is not show standard advice needed please.

Of course you dont want your money back, she is your baby!! I wouldnt worry too much, honestly it doesnt matter what she looks like as long as she is loved. All we are saying is she doesnt look all that DDB by the usual standards. Is she KC registered? As long as the breeder can prove she is DDB if ever needed then all is well.

No not kc reg when I phoned her and asked her why people are saying she looks like a pit she said that's impossible when I went to see the pup the mum was there she was ddb. She has asked our pups father for there blood lines but the owner said she can not provide them as our pups mother I's not kc reg. Really stuck on what to do here as we paid for ddb. Thanks people for advice.

Welcome! I'll have to say I don't see DDB in her either, but that's just me. I would agree with Mooshi's mom, if you love her & she's a good addition to your family then appearance wise it shouldn't matter.

My EM pup is full blooded, registered with AKC & both parents look like EMs. However, I've noticed my pup kinda sorta has a little bit of a Fila looking head. She's got a very hound like face, droopy eyes & lots of extra skin around her neck. But I know she's not Fila.
