I ground train Warmblood horses for a living and a few years ago, I decided to get my own dog to fit into my horse world and life in the country.
Labs and farms go hand in hand and my 5yo son and I looked at labs and then I went to check out an English mastiff. I was hooked. Boscoe is now 150 pounds and 4 years of age.
A few days ago, my son and I woke up like it was Christmas morning as our 2nd mastiff was now ready to leave her litter and she was 10 weeks old. We waited 8 months to get her. Riley is a neo mastiff and we are in love already.
They are not a good first dog to have but an amazing creature to have in your life if you have no issues being the alpha. ;-)
