Breeders/Private Homes in Kansas City Area

I have started looking into getting and English Mastiff off and on over the past few months. Our English Mastiff pasted away just over a year ago and I am ready to begin with one or two puppies.

In the past, I have got ton dogs from breeders as well as people's homes. I have had better luck from private homes, but I am open to breeders as well.

We live in a rural area just outside Kansas City, KS. I have fenced in a fairly large area in our backyard for the dogs. It was built with our Mastiff in mind, with lots of room to run around. Though we have no leash laws out here, I like to protect them from cars. Also, not all people like seeing large dogs running up to say hello.

Anyway, if you know of someone or you are that someone, please let me know.

Thanks

Go with an in home breeder. They will have soooo much more time to spend with the little kids than a large scale breeder end product being a well socialized pup. I just got done with an 8 yr stretch of breeding English bulldogs and you just cant imagine the time it takes to show the world to a litter of 10 puppies in only 8 weeks. Large scale breeders don't have that time because they are busy cleaning kennels and such...Also ask to visit a breeders home before buying from them. It should look like a doggy playground with toys and chewies and dog beds laying about. If they don't love the puppy parents then don't support them breeding dogs via giving them your money. Also ask about genetic testing on parents and if the breeders house is not spotless don't freek because it could be because they r spending so much of their time with the puppies.

I live in the area, but can't really help you out. I have DDBs and got all of mine out of state/overseas.

Hello, I don't know if you are still looking for a puppy? We currently have 8 beautiful babies. They are AKC registered and grandsired champions on both sides. I don't know what your budget is but if you want some more info please let me know.
