Bully Kutta Breeders

Been researching the breed on and off for the past few years tying to differentiate fact from fake. I want to talk to reputable breeders of the breed. Checked out numerous website and sent emails but have yet to hear anything since apparently most "left" the breed???

Thanks

If you want a true bully kutta you're going to have to import. There just is no one in America that has pure blood. Most are mutts toted as the bully kutta. Are you on facebook? I could recommend a few people on there that breed/own them and could get you in the loop so to speak. I know you said you waited a few years to build a relationship with breeders before, and you probably will for a kutta as well (to get a good one anyway).

I knew I would have to import directly from PK, but I wanted to speak with breeders in regards to the breed temperament to find out more about the breed first hand. The closest thing I could get to were watching videos of the breed (non-fighting). From what I read I really like them but I wanted to pass all the BS and hype.

Even so with importing I would have to be real careful, people mix these dogs to get better fighters. Then of course there is also the language barrier.

Yes I believe that building a TRUSTING relationship with a breeder/enthusiast is crucial in any breed. I'm not looking for anything now, I've seen a lot of advertisements listed for BK in the UK but I'm not impressed and have my doubts of them being "true" BK.

Just thought maybe there were some members here that had some type of experience with the breed. :)

No actual experience. I have only seen one in person, awesome dog though. I have met quite a few BK owners through the CAS world. It's difficult to find owners that don't fight their dogs as that is such a custom in that part of the world.

Well its closer than I have been to the breed lol. The CAS is a nice dog just don't have the right type of environment for it.

Sorry you mentioned if I had a facebook earlier no I don't. Never saw the point in getting one.

Its their culture, while I don't agree with it I'm not going to fly into a rage like some people do. I did noticed though that some of the dogs used in the fights were still not all dog aggressive. When away from that environment most of them were pretty calm and accepting of other dogs. I have to say that's quite impressive.

Never heard of them before. I looked them up and there seems to be a very wide range in the way they look. Some are beautiful as could be. Some I dont care for a bit though.

Good luck in your search

Yes, there is no offical breed standard. From what I gathered there are 5 or 7 ( depending on who you ask) different types of BK. Many of which are mixes of other dogs for fighting.

Thanks, no hurry just info.

I would be careful about UK Bully Kutta breeders, many of them are thought to breed their dogs to be fighters.

As for flying into a rage, I don't care about cultural differences, dog fighting is cowardly, repulsive and abusive and I feel totally within my rights to be livid about it and have nothing but contempt for the animals that abuse their dogs in this manner.

Bently I'm not sure what you mean about the UK breeders. My only concern about the UK breeders were them being "true" BK, that is why I would prefer to get the breed from its native land in Pakistan.

I don't like bull fights, but over seas its their culture and "flying into a rage" does nothing more but cause me wrinkles and gray hair, lol.

I probably should have been clearer in my meaning: in a discussion with a friend of mine who shares an interest in molossers he mentioned that he had looked into getting a Bully Kutta and had been disturbed by the way that some of the breeders had described their dogs in terms of what good fighters they would have made and how agressive they could be.

^ Wouldn't surprise me.. most of the comments left on BK videos are those comparing breeds for better game. Its not my interest so I ignore it.

my CAS is from a fighting line but with proper training and care he is now the sweetest dog...if you want a bully kutta its going to be from a fighting line..however it does not mean he will be aggressive ...it takes some work and he will be fine. unfortunately you have to import.

Sorry for digging this old thread.
But have you got the dog?
I know people in PK who might be able to help you.
